1. Rosters

1.a. Teams can register a maximum 25 player roster (25 fc's including alts) and are only permitted to use players registered to their rosters for the duration of the season.

1.b. Teams can register new WCL players (players who are not currently registered to any WCL team) throughout the season, once it has been approved by a WCL administrator.

1.c. Current WCL players can transfer between teams during the registration window only (between weeks 5 and 6).

1.d. Teams found guilty of using ilegal players (unregistered players/friendcodes) will have those players points discounted for all previous wars and may be disqualified.

1.e. Players found guilty of representing a team they are not registered to will be suspended or banned (at staff disrection).


1.f. Teams found guilty of knowingly using suspended or banned players will be disqualified.

2. Player Registration

2.a. Players who attempt to register for more than one team will be banned.

2.b. Players must provide visual proof of their license screen when registering (in accordance with the registration procedures found here) or they will be classified as being unregistered.

2.b. Players found guilty of representing more than one team during a season (excluding transfers) will be banned and their individual points accumulated for both teams in previous wars will be cancelled and results/points awarded (if applicable) for such wars altered.

3. Mii Names

3.a. Players points will not be counted for their team should they play using a different name to the one they registered, unless they make their division administrator aware of their alias for that war in the result thread.

3.b. Players points will not be counted for their team should they play using a name that was registered by any other member of their team.

3.c. Players points will not be counted for their team should they play using a name that was registered by any other member of the opposing team, or a name commonly used by a member of the opposing team.

3.d. Players points will not be counted for their team should they play using a name that provokes argument or insults the opposition or any other persons.

3.e. Players points will not be counted for their team should they play using the same name as any other member of their team (each player must be distinguishable from each other).


4. Lineups

4.a. Teams can name a maximum 9 players for their line-up and any 5 may represent that team for any gp.

5. War Rules

5.a. All wars are 5v5, should a team have less than 5 players then they are to play with however many they have without their opponents being obligated to drop players/points.

5.b. War duration is 3 GP's.

5.c. Voting for courses is permitted but repeating courses is not allowed, players responsible for causing a repeat course selection over the 3 GP’s (12 races) through voting (excluding random) will incur a 20 point war penalty for their team per repeat.

5.d. Players found guilty of using any known or unknown glitch will incur a 50 point war penalty for their team and the individual will be suspended or banned (at the division administrators discretion).

6. War Times

6.a. Wars are to take place at the WCL scheduled times unless both teams are in agreement to play at a different time (rule 6.a applies).

6.b. Should a WCL scheduled war coincide with a countries national holiday which would affect the availability of members for the team of that country, then the WCL scheduled time is moved forward 24hrs.

7. Hosting

7.a. Hosting teams who fail to open their rooms within 10 minutes from the scheduled time may lose that match by forfeit (at the division administrators discretion).

7.b. Hosting teams are not to open their rooms earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled time, unless it is with consent from the opposing team.

7.c. All players are allowed a maximum 10 minutes to enter the room after it has been opened or 10 minutes after the scheduled time (should the room be opened earlier than the scheduled time).

7.d. The host must not start before the allowed 10 minutes waiting time should the opposition be missing a player, unless consent from the opposition has been given.

7.e. The host must start the game after 10 minutes has passed from the time of opening the room or after 10 minutes from the scheduled time (should the room be opened earlier than the scheduled time) regardless of how many players from each team are present, unless consent from the opposing team has been given.

7.f. The host should wait a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 5 minutes between GP's, unless consent from the opposition has been given to resume earlier or to wait longer.

7.g. Host teams who break rules 7.b, 7.d, 7.e or 7.f will be banned from hosting (at the division administrators discretion).

7.h. Should the host disconnect the room to allow missing team mate(s) to join, or to change their line-up or for any reason considered as an intentional disconnection to manipulate the rules, then that team will be banned from hosting (at the division administrators discretion).

7.i. Should disconnections be frequent with a particular host then the host player will be banned from hosting.

7.j. Should teams report a host as having extreme lag then the host player will be banned from hosting.

8. Disconnections

8.a. Should a player be disconnected before the commencement of the 1st race (missing from the voting screen) then the GP must be restarted. Should the host fail to restart then the GP will be void/replayed and the host team may be banned from hosting (at the division administrators discretion).

8.b. Should a player be disconnected during the 1st race or before the commencement of the 2nd race (missing from the voting screen) then the player will score 15 points for that GP.

8.c. Should a player be disconnected during the 2nd, 3rd or 4th races then the players point’s prior to their disconnection will be counted providing proof can be presented or both teams are in agreement.

8.d. Should the host be disconnected then all players points prior to and including the race in which the disconnection occurred in will be counted, provided proof from any other player other than the host is presented.

8.e. The host should disconnect the room after sufficient races have been completed to make up the GP in which the host disconnected in.

8.f. Should a host be disconnected and no proof of scores prior to the disconnection can be provided, then that GP is to be replayed.

8.g. Should a room need to be reopened then hosting rules 6.c and 6.d apply.

9. Player Shortage

9.a. Teams will be given 10 pts per player they are missing at the commencement of any GP.

10. Substitutions

10.a. Any number of substitutions between the 9 players named in the teams line-up may be made between GP’s.

10.b. Should a team wish to make a substitution then a member of that team is to leave the room between GP's to indicate to the host that a substitution is due to be made.

10.c. A maximum of 5 minutes is allowed for clans to make substitutions.

10.d. The GP must be started immediately after the 5 minutes waiting time, regardless of how many players are in the room (unless consent is given from the opposition to wait longer).

10.e. The host must not start the game before the allowed 5 minutes waiting time should a player be missing (unless the opposition gives their consent to start). Teams who start the game with an opposing player missing before the allowed 5 minutes without consent may lose that war by forfeit and will be banned from hosting.

11. Tags

11.a. All players of the same team are to use similar tags to each other at either the beginning or end of their names, players who fail to display a tag correctly will incur a 10 point penalty for their team.

12. Forfeiting

12.a. Teams who lose by forfeit will do so by 200-0.

12.b. Teams who forfeit during a season may be disqualified.

12.c. Teams who forfeit three times during a season will be disqualified.

12.d. Teams who forfeit intentionally either through there being little significance of the result (the end of season) or to help other teams will be disqualified.

13. Results

13.a. The host team is to post the result of their match within 24hrs of the matches completion including individual totals, failure to do so may result in that team being banned from hosting or otherwise penalised (at the division administrators discretion).

13.b. If neither team can provide proof of a result then a decision will be made by the division administrator to either count the scores of any GP(s) that there is/are proof for as overall result or to replay any outstanding GP(s) or declare the match a draw.

13.c. If there are no pictures to prove a result and evidence is presented supporting the outcome of the war then that war may be scored as a win/loss by forfeit (at the division administrators discretion).

13.d. If evidence is presented supporting a claim that an away team is witholding pictures purposefully to prevent the host from reporting results, then the host team will win that match by forfeit.

13.e. If the host team fails to post the result having been provided with pictures, then that host team will be banned from hosting and/or otherwise penalised (at the division administrators discretion).

14. Incomplete War

14.a. Should teams have an acceptable reason for not being able to complete a war then any GP's remaining will be replayed (at the division administrators discretion).

14.b. Should a team be unwilling to complete a war without good reason then the scores for the GP(s) that there is/are proof for will be counted as the final result, providing the result doesn't favour the team who were unwilling to continue.

14.c. Should a team be unwilling to complete a war without good reason and the scores for the GP(s) that there is/are proof for favours the team unwilling to continue, then the team unwilling to continue will lose that war by forfeit.

14.d. Teams will lose by forfeit should they be unwilling to complete a war without good reason and no GP's have been completed.

15. Replays

15.a. Any outstanding GP's are to be replayed at a time agreed by the two teams before their next scheduled WCL match. If a time cannot be agreed between the two teams then any outstanding GP's will be replayed at a time decided by the division administrator or at the same time originally scheduled 1 day before their next WCL match.

16. Cheating

16.a. Persons found guilty of hacking in the WCL or any other official war/competition (including non-WCL) will be banned from the WCL permanently and all points from any previous matches the person accumulated will be cancelled.

16.b. Persons found guilty of hacking during the WCL may (at the WCL staffs discretion) cause the disqualification of their team.

16.c. Persons found guilty of hacking during the WCL may (at the WCL staffs discretion) cause every other player on their team to be banned from the WCL. indefinitely.

16.d. Evidence supporting claims that a player may have hacked is to be presented to a member of staff for investigation, not posted in the public forums, people who accuse others of hacking in the forum may be banned from the WCL site/competition.

17. Conduct

17.a. Players who personally insult, are verbally abusive or encourage arguments within the WCL forum may be suspended or banned from the WCL site/competition (at WCL staff discretion).

18. Disqualification

18.a. Disqualified teams are removed from the league and replaced with teams on a short list.

18.b. Disqualified teams may be permitted to rejoin the league (at the league adminstrators discretion) but not during the same season in which they were disqualified.

18.c. Disqualified teams permitted to rejoin will join in a division lower than the one they were disqualified from.

Cambios importantes:


Regla del TAG editada, se admiten variables de TAG (Regla 11)
Conducta de jugadores (Regla 17) (Neo fue baneado por pelearse con bash y no le permiten jugar)
No jugar un partido supone suspensión inmediata (Regla 12b)
Para registrarse hay que tomar foto de los 4 carnets (Regla 1)

Curioso el cambio de los TAG's. De todas formas todos llevaremos el mismo.
